USPS Leadership Shakeup and Protests: What Lob Customers Should Know

⚠️ This is a developing story. We will continue to monitor the situation and update this post as new information becomes available.

On March 24, 2025, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy officially announced his resignation. Deputy Postmaster General Doug Tulino has been named interim chief until the USPS governing board names a successor.

At the same time, USPS workers in more than 200 cities have begun participating in rallies to express concern over possible changes at the agency. These demonstrations are happening during their off hours and are not part of a strike or work stoppage. Mail delivery and operations remain unaffected at this time.

What This Means for Your Mail

Right now, there is no disruption to USPS services, and your direct mail is still moving as expected, with no known disruptions to speed or delivery. Lob is actively tracking this evolving situation and staying close to the latest updates from USPS leadership and the broader postal community.

We are committed to keeping you informed and will share updates as we learn more.
