Lob is building a suite of APIs to simplify and automate enterprise workflows that connect the online and offline worlds.  Our most popular product is our Print & Mail API that enables companies to send physical mail as effortlessly as sending emails. Lob’s Partner team owns and operates the supply side of the business, which must work seamlessly with this modern tooling to support key value props such as speed, scale, quality, and transparency. We are looking for strategic thinkers who are ready to roll their sleeves up, understand the intricacies of our plumbing & supply chain, and apply their insights to optimize our fulfillment engine. The team implements rigorous operations management principles to derive and manage metrics like quality, speed, deliverability, and cost, all in service of delivering a world-class experience for Lob’s customers.

This role requires a unique mix of project management, analytical and interpersonal skills. You will need to be comfortable partnering with Product & Engineering, and managing simultaneous implementations across our Print Delivery Network. You will analyze raw data and deliver insights that will directly influence key planning processes. We are looking for a detail oriented project manager with a solid analytical backbone. This role is critical to building and operating a scalable and sustainable supply-side infrastructure at Lob.

As a Partner Operations Manager you'll...

  • Own and automate the partner onboarding process to effectively grow Lob’s Print Delivery Network
  • Partner with Product & Engineering to manage technical implementations with each of Lob’s supply chain partners
  • Establish a sustainability and diversity standard for Lob’s Print Delivery Network, assessing and implementing environmental certifications 
  • Own and manage quality testing and assurance processes for the Print Delivery Network
  • Provide analytical and project management support for key capacity planning & distribution processes
  • Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders internally and externally to strengthen partnerships and to support print network operations
  • Develop a deep understanding of partners, process, and technology to build a system that combines these elements in the optimal way to drive customer value through the Print Delivery Network

For this role, we're looking for...

  • 3-5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years experience in a program management, project management, implementations, or similar role
  • Supply chain, procurement, or sourcing experience is preferred 
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to work with raw data, formulate hypotheses, test them and draw insights
  • Exceptional communication skills, confident speaking to internal and external individuals across all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team-player 
  • Ability to grasp new business concepts quickly and desire to develop industry expertise 
  • SQL knowledge is a plus, but not required
