Lead Development Representative

Lob is looking for a Lead Development Representative to support the efforts of the sales team. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities from a targeted list of accounts.

On any given day, you will be requesting and confirming product overview calls, following up on new marketing leads, and initiating communication with prospective clients. You are very well organized, aggressive in your efforts, and always using data to ensure you will meet and exceed your goals. 

As a Lead Development Representative, you’ll…

  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling & emailing from a targeted list of accounts
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to drive opportunities
  • Be comfortable with rejection and making cold calls. Be persistent and tenacious in your work
  • Understand your customer’s needs in order to present the product as a solution
  • Build relationships with key decision makers to gain their support and commitment to buy and use the product
  • Be detail-oriented, organized and persistent in sales and service follow ups
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition

For this role, we’re looking for...

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years in a sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding your quota
  • Track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions
  • Ability to bring an entrepreneurial spirit to your work, improving processes and outcomes
  • An initiator and self-starter
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Yesware, and calling softwares
